The JavaScript Raytracer is a 3D rendering engine written entirely in JavaScript. It implements the raytracing algorithm to create images of mathematically defined shapes such as spheres.

For a quick demonstration, select "Original JS Raytracer Scene" from the "Load Preset" dropdown in the "Workspace Options" section. Then click Load, scroll down and click "Render" in "Render Controls," and scroll down farther to view the image as it renders.
